Dr. Kowthemi Murugapoopathy attended dental school at the prestigious University of the Pacific in San Francisco, California where she meticulously learned her craft and upon graduation in 2015, returned to her hometown of Toronto where she has been practicing dentistry ever since.

A board certified dentist in both the United States and Canada, Dr. Kowthemi is known for her gentle and dedicated approach in providing a high-quality dental experience that ensures patients are always comfortable and reach optimal oral health. Apart from private practice, she is also a Clinical Instructor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry teaching the next generation of dentists and offering a helping hand as Courtesy Staff at Unity Health Toronto.

In her spare time, Dr. Kowthemi remains a lifelong learner by pursuing advanced education in the field of dentistry, can be found cooking her favourite dishes and experimenting with new and unique recipes in the kitchen, travelling to near and far off locales (pre-COVID) and spending quality time with her family and friends.
