Graduated from dental school at the University of Peradinya in her native Sri Lanka before immigrating to Canada in 1995. After spending time working in various provinces she settled in Toronto, Canada, opening her first practice in 1999.   She then went on to complete further speciality training in Orthodontics at the NYU School of Dentistry in 2006 and opened her second practice in Scarborough Ontario, shortly afterwards. With 25 years of experience, Dr K practices with expertise knowledge as well as a gentle and patient clinical manner. When she is not at either one of her practices, Dr K can be found utilizing her Karnatic Vocal Diploma, partaking in yoga, or serving as the secretary for Eekai foundation- a non profit community hub aiming to empower those who are afflicted by war and natural disasters in northern and eastern Sri Lanka and Tamil youth in Canada.
